Kuala Rompin hosts the largest Billfish Tournament in Malaysia every September.

We give you the great opportunity to become a member of the team and fish the 

 Royal Pahang Billfish International Challenge.

It is possible to participate as a single angler or with friends.

We can also create several teams with several boats.

4 anglers / 1 coach / 1 captain / 1 crew man / 1 marshal form the Team.

3 days before the Tournament you will be trained by our specialists.

We will teach you everything you need to know and put you in the Team.

The  Royal Pahang Billfish International        

 Challenge / Tournament 

is only for catches of Sailfish (600 points) and marlins (1000 points) and contestants are guided by the rules of conduct based on international standards set by the

IGFA International Game Fish Association.

Catch and Release is compulsory whereby after capture the fish is unhooked, photographed and returned.

Travel process – plan:

​

  • Monday 1th day. Meeting point International Airport Kuala Lumpur KL 10:30 pick-up with car or van - ride to Grouper Lake - ca 12:00 to 15:00 Monster Grouper catch - lunch - ride to Kuala Rompin about 5 hours - 20:00 check in accommodation - dinner - Overnight stay.

  • Tuesday 2th day. 06:00 Breakfast - 07:00 Fishing tackle clear-boat ready - Go fishing- Training for the tournament - Sailfish-Action- Fishing - Lunch - ca.18: 00 arrival Pier - freshly made - 20:00 Dinner - Overnight stay.

  • Wednesday 3th day same

  • Thursday 4th day same

​

  • Friday 5th day 09:00 Breakfast - 10:00 Fishing tackle clear for the Tournament – 13:00 realex – 16:00 drive to challenge team registration. Dinner - Overnight stay.

  • Saturday 6th day Fishing the  Royal Pahang Billfish International

  •  Challenge RPBIC and catch as many sails as possible - ca.17: 00 arrival Pier

  • - freshly made - 20:00 Dinner - Overnight stay.

  • Sunday 7th day Fishing the  Royal Pahang Billfish International

  • Challenge RPBIC and catch as many sails as possible - ca.17: 00 arrival Pier

  • - freshly made 18:00 Go to the glamorous award ceremony with gala dinner and party- Overnight stay.

  • Monday 8 th day 08:00 Breakfast -09: 00 ride to KL Airport – Lunch on the way – around 15:00 Arrivals International Airport Kuala Lumpur KL.

Possible options: Extra fishing days / days without fishing Relax / Fishing Trip to Tioman Island / Island Holidays. Can be combined with our fantastic fishing opportunities in  Thailand.
